Domaine Chave

Difficult to resist to the aura that emanates from the Chave domain. This terroir is several centuries old (it exists since the 15th century, it was a land granted by a lord), which has recently set itself new objectives. It has also acquired new territories (The Florentin, which gave its first vintage in 2009), increasing to 26 the number of hectares available for a production of a unique quality. Above all, this domain has a great location in the heart of l’Hermitage, in the middle of the Rhône valley. The production of Chave wine reflects at best what this hill has to offer.

L’Hermitage, through the Jean-Louis Chave domain, offers us wines of unique quality. Its production it's mainly used in the making of the red wine Syrah (which represents more than 20 hectares alone) and of the white wines Marsanne and Rousanne. Which are both, firm and powerful wines. The red wine has a sublime color and a red fruits and olives taste. The white, on the other hand, has more of a linden or iris flavor.
