Deutz: an emblematic house from the Côte des Blancs
The Deutz house began its history in the nineteenth century, in 1838 to be more precise. Today, it is one of the most famous producers of Champagne. Its production is very significant: 2.5 millions of bottles are produced each year, on a vineyard of 200 hectares located in Aÿ. Its variety of grapes is a blend of pinot noir, pinot meunier and chardonnay, which makes sublime wines. It should be noticed that its parcels, some of which are among the most attractive of the Côte des Blancs, have everything on their side. Today, the production of Deutz wines is exported, it is present in more than 40 countries.
Among its most exceptional bottles, we can mention l’Amour de Deutz 2002, the 1999 vintage of the William Deutz Cuvée, whose range is incredible. The Deutz Brut Classic is enough to show all that grape varieties can offer, since it includes all of the grape varieties in equal amounts. The wine has the fruity taste of pinot noir, the texture and vinosity of the pinot meunier, but also the beautiful color of Chardonnay and acacia or candy aromas. The refined, Deutz Champagne is highly sought after, made for connoisseurs who love high sensations.
