Pétrus

Pétrus

Pétrus: an exceptional wine with a rich and powerful taste

Recognized as one of the best red wines in the world, the Pétrus is produced in the vineyard region of Pomerol. Thirty thousand bottles are produced each year, on average. The Pétrus stands out from other wines of the Bordeaux region for its label, which doesn’t have the word “château”. In fact, there is no castle on the site, which is rare for a vineyard domain in Bordeaux. If today the bottles of this precious nectar have very elevated prices in the markets, is due to the fact that the Pétrus has exceptional taste qualities thanks to the clay soils where the vines are cultivated. The peculiarity of its soil gives this grand cru and each one of its vintages, an inimitable rich taste with truffle aroma.
